Andy Rowles Shield presentation to Paul Wheatcroft

Due to the AGM being ‘ virtual’, the shield was presented yesterday by previous holder, andrew McCrorie, to Paul Wheatcroft. Awarded for his dedication to aircraft inspection and maintenance of the Club fleet.

It is very windy today (19th September) with more wind forecast for the next few days. I’ve just been around all our trailers, EJE and FJX and made sure they’re all tied down properly. Many strops were untied or loose.

John Wright managed 2 hours in the Twin Grob and near the end of our flight saw John Adams in 831 who also achieved a decent soaring flight.
